In Tehran, on Dr. Qandi St near Sohrevardi, residents reported a car that had been left unattended for about two months. When police arrived and searched the car they found clubs, electric batons, handcuffs, wireless radios, masks, cables, and vests. They angrily scattered the witnesses and took the car to a nearby police station, Branch 104, itself a center for sending plainclothes forces out into the streets. A few days earlier, a Reformist website reported that one of the detention centers of the Revolutionary Guards was located not far from the spot where the car was reported, cleverly hidden in a parking lot above a shopping mall on Sohrevardi St.
