TEHRAN, Iran — The day before two of his young clients were to be hanged, lawyer Mohamad Mostafaei went to a Justice Ministry office here to request a stay of execution.
Mr. Mostafaei's errand should have been routine, if solemn: He represents 30 of the 135 criminals under the age of 18 on Iran's death row. Instead, he says, he was detained and grilled for an hour and a half, part of Iran's widening crackdown on human-rights activists.

Reformist challenger Mir-Hossein Mousavi accused the president of so sullying the nation that Iranian passports are now on par with those of Somalia, the African state that has become a hub of poverty, piracy and terrorism.

در مجموعه برنامههای مربوط به انتخابات دهمین دورهی انتخابات ریاست جمهوری در ایران، گزارشهای ما طبعا، بیشتر به انعکاس نظر و دیدگاههای سازمانها، احزاب و شخصیتهای داخل کشور پرداخته است.
اما واقعیت این است که جمعیت عظیم ایرانیان خارج از کشور در مقطع برگزاری هر انتخاباتی در ایران، با رویکردهای متفاوت و متنوع خود، همواره فعال بوده و این فعالیت، بعضاً، در داخل کشور نیز انعکاس و تاثیرات معین خود را داشته است.
